MQA is expanding its reach in the custom install channel, announcing Integra as the latest hardware partner to support its master quality file and streaming technology format. Onkyo and Pioneer are also expanding their MQA offerings.
Integra has confirmed that its DTM-6 and DTM-7 network receivers will offer full MQA decoder support, able to play MQA content from USB storage and network inputs. It's worth noting that only the DTM-6 is available in EU territories.
Onkyo is bringing full MQA decoding, through USB storage and network inputs, to seven of its stereo models: the TX-8250, TX-8260, TX-8270 and R-N855 network stereo receivers; the NS-6130 and NS-6170 network audio players, and the CR-N775D Network CD receiver.
Meanwhile, Pioneer is expanding its range of MQA-enabled products, to include the SX-N30AE stereo receiver and N-30AE network audio player.
“The Custom Install market serves consumers committed to the very best audio experiences. We welcome these new additions to the fast growing range of enabled products, which highlight MQA’s versatility in all listening environments,” comments Mike Jbara, CEO of MQA.
