Hisense has jumped onto the multi-HDR bandwagon, confirming that its top range 2020 flatscreens will offer both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ as well as Dolby Atmos audio.

Its 2020 flagship is the Quantum Dot-enabled U8QF (pictured above), a 4k UHD screen with Dolby Vision and HDR10+, as well as Sky friendly HLG, available in 55- and 65-inch screen sizes.

A direct-lit panel, it boasts Full Array Dimming Pro, for enhanced contrast and a Dolby Atmos sound system, with a front facing speaker bar provided by JBL.

Smart connectivity comes via the brand’s own Smart TV OS, VIDAA U4. There’s a full complement of streaming services onboard, Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Rakuten TV and Freeview Play. This year, it also comes with a new Launcher view: a fully customisable Home page design that allows viewers to access apps and smart services in a linear layout, with content tailored to viewing habits. The VIDAA U4 OS also has Amazon Alexa built in.

The U7QF also uses a Direct-Lit LED panel, albeit with less sophisticated local dimming than its stablemate.

For those looking for a low-cost high-spec display, Hisense offers the A7500F and AE7400F, both 4k models come with Dolby Vision, vehicle audio is enhanced by DTS Virtual: X post processing.

The A7500F is available in 43- and 50-inch screen sizes. An auto sports mode automatically adjusts picture and audio settings, reducing motion blur with MEMC technology for the viewer to see every net-breaking goal in ultimate clarity.
