AV distributor Karma-AV is planning to unveil a range of new products at the Hi-Fi Show Live 2017, which is being organised by Hi-Fi News magazine, at the Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor, Berkshire, October 21-22. Among them will be the latest generation of Mark Levinson separates, including the No515 turntable, No519 audio player and No534 dual-mono amplifier – all making their UK show debuts.
Mark Levinson’s first ever turntable is a mix of precision-engineered transcription and state-of the-art design, while its No519 player will resolve virtually any digital audio format. The No519’s full complement of wired and wireless digital audio inputs will accommodate USB asynchronous streaming and mass storage, Gigabit Ethernet, Balanced, Optical, Coaxial, Wi-Fi, aptX Bluetooth, and an integrated slot-loading CD player.
In addition, the No519 includes high-performance headphone connectivity and integrated digital volume control allowing it to serve as a fully integrated digital music source.
Following in the finest traditions of Mark Levinson amplification, the new No534 dual-mono amplifier delivers 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms, operating purely in class A for most listening conditions, doubling to 500W into 4 ohms, with stable operation into 2 ohm loads.
Also on show will be the 12-input dual-mono No526 preamplifier featuring Levinson’s ‘Pure Path’ circuit topology, a class A ‘Pure Phono’ stage, a 32-bit DAC, and a class A Main Drive Headphone output; and the No585 integrated amplifier which unites the latest state-of-the-art Mark Levinson processing and power topologies in a single box.
Completing the system will be JBL's 4367 and 4312 SE studio monitors. Torus Power’s TOT AVR conditioner will be used to isolate the kit from the outside power grid via a Plitron toroidal isolation transforme..
Karma-AV’s second room at the show will host the UK show debut of Primare’s new I35 and compact I15 integrated amplifiers and CD35 disc player, each featuring Prisma: Primare’s new whole-home, high fidelity control and connectivity solution. Prisma offers network playback from stored and streamed media, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection, as well as multi-room/multi-zone connectivity and control, all managed through the Prisma application, allowing Prisma system management from any mobile device.
A Prisma system will be driving the award-winning Revel Concerta2 M16 2-way bookshelf monitor, a smart and sophisticated system of 1in aluminium tweeter and 6.5in bass/mid driver, designed and engineered at Harman Luxury Audio’s Northridge CA facility.
