With the retail sector now easing out of lockdown, Hi-Fi and home cinema retailers would seem well placed to make the most of the new normal, when it comes to a shopping environment.

Scotland’s hi-fi and home cinema retailer, Loud & Clear, is one of many in the sector who have been working behind the scenes in anticipation. Its team of audio experts have reworked its Edinburgh premises to ensure that it both meets and exceeds current government guidelines.

When clients arrive at Loud & Clear, they’ll be greeted at the reception desk where they will be asked to use the hand sanitising equipment before being provided with a complimentary mask and gloves. Inside the store, floor markings clearly indicate the separate areas for customers and staff to guarantee safe distancing. To ensure a comfortable visit, fully accessible toilets are available.

Loud & Clear Retailer Ready For New Normal

The showroom covers over 2,600 square feet of retail space, and has been tailored to observe social distancing guidelines, so customers can once again experience a wide range of carefully selected performance audio and video products.

A gazebo and picnic table at the front of the store, gives customers a place to wait before entering. Should they wish to achieve extra social distancing, they also have access to a spacious conservatory.

Loud & Clear is well known for its hospitality, and the team says it aims to place the emphasis on the social aspect of social distancing. Located on the historic Leith Waterfront, the showroom is surrounded by a selection of cafes and coffee shops offering takeaway services. The Loud & Clear team are encouraging their customers to enjoy their refreshments into this beautifully renovated whisky bond, and enjoy music of their choice played on some of the world’s finest turntables, streamers, amplifiers and loudspeakers.

The showroom has also altered its opening hours: Thursday: 12:00 – 20:00. Friday: 12:00 – 19:00. Saturday: 09:30 – 17:30. Monday through Wednesday are by appointment only.

The retailer continues to operate an enhanced online presence too, both for buying equipment and making appointments to view. More can be found here. www.loud-clear-edinburgh.myshopify.com
