Lighting controls specialist Helvar has announced Illustris, a Bluetooth touch-sensitive panel in glass or plastic. Intended for control of Helvar lighting control systems and DALI Type 8 colour devices, Nick Van Tromp, Helvar’s Product Manager, says the range is “a major step forward in Helvar lighting control.”
The design is intended to complement contemporary interiors, as well as office, education, healthcare, residential and hospitality installs. It features the same capacitive technology found on many smartphones, and works with Helvar’s SceneSet app.
Installation is said to be quick and easy. Illustris fits most UK/DIN/EU back boxes, for quick and easy installation.

There’s a choice of fascia graphic layouts, including a scene control panel, a full colour control panel, and a colour temperature control panel. Integrators have the ability to edit and store scenes from the Illustris panel or from the app.
