The Harman Luxury Audio Group (LAG) has added the Harman Kardon Citation series to its portfolio of audio brands, and will handle the distribution and marketing of the Citation series in the UK. The Harman Kardon Citation line joins Arcam, JBL Synthesis, Lexicon, Mark Levinson, and Revel at LAG.
Retail assets will include an in-store CTU display complete with a touch-screen interface for speaker activation and a ‘Hey Google’ call-out, perfectly positioning the ‘Smart. Premium. Wireless.’ brand identity.
Launched in 2019, the Citation line combines smart home electronics and multi-room functionality with Scandi-inspired design, and blended wool fabrics from Danish textile house Kvadrat.
The Citation line currently includes countertop speaker options, HDMI-equipped soundbars; a powered wireless subwoofer, surround speakers and powered speakers.
All Citation speakers are high-res audio capable built to stream, with support for Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, and Chromecast built-in with Google Assistant.
Coming soon to the Citation line is the compact Harman Kardon Citation Multibeam 700 soundbar, which uses MultiBeam surround sound technology with room calibration in conjunction with seven drivers. It also features HDMI connectivity and a full colour LCD display. It can be partnered with the Sub S, a new compact, wireless subwoofer with a 100W amplifier.
It’ll be joined by the Oasis (pictured abvove), a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi speaker which offers Google voice control, DAB/DAB+ radio and an integral wireless charge-pad, as well as the Citation 200, a portable smart speaker.
The Citation 200 comes with a docking cradle, enabling up to eight hours playback time from a single charge, and has an IPX-4 splash-proof rating.
“The brand’s smart mix of cutting-edge tech and industrial design delivers a compelling line; one which perfectly complements our other five brands,” says Scott Campbell, Director Sales at Luxury Audio Group. “Citation is a great conversation starter for our dealers and, ultimately, a further rewarding path to achieving more business and producing more satisfied customers.”
