Established in 2006, StormAudio has enjoys a considerable reputation when it comes to high performance cinema. The French audio outfit was an early supporter of Auro Technologies and boasts state of the art object-based audio processing for all key formats.

StormAudio’s proprietary circuit topology runs on multiple DSP chips dedicated to key stages in the processing path. The audiophile design delivers the best immersive sound quality, coupled with powerful post-processing, including Dirac Live, for the best in-room performance.
Launching the landmark ‘ISP MK 1’ 16-channel modular processor in 2017, StormAudio embarked on OEM partnerships with other leading audiophile cinema brands before releasing the reference ‘ISP MK 2’, 24-channel modular processor in 2020, followed by the compact ‘ISP Core 16’ processor in 2021.

Supported by the brand’s PA 16 MK2 and PA 8 Ultra MK2 200W/16/8 channel amplifiers, StormAudio’s processors are acclaimed for their upgradability through state-of-the-art hardware modularity and easy software updates. The range is also celebrated for its intuitive setup, powerful and flexible calibration options (including support for Dirac Live up to 32 channels, Dirac Live’s Bass Control and SA’s flexible EQ and bass management capabilities) and comprehensive control options available through iOS and Android apps, TCP/IP based control API and control system integration.
