Focal and Naim Audio have unveiled a special Ash Grey flagship system package, combing Focal’s best selling Aria 926 floorstanding speakers with Naim’s award-winning Uniti Star, at High End 2022.
Supplied with a 4m pair of Naim NAC A5 speaker cables, the French-made speakers and British-built system can accommodate all sources, from music streaming to TV audio.
The Naim Uniti Star works with Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and Qobuz, and supports Apple AirPlay 2, has Chromecast built-in plus Bluetooth. There’s provision for a vinyl turntable, while an HDMI input can be used to upgrade TV sound too.
Control comes via the Naim App or a smart remote control; there’s also voice-control support for Google Assistant and Apple Siri.
The Aria K2 926 speakers feature an updated version of the brand’s K2 sandwich cone, first launched in the mid-1980s. The three-way floorstander features Focal’s classic 25mm TNF Aluminium Magnesium inverted dome tweeter design atop a 16.5 cm midrange K2 driver and twin 16.5cm bass drivers.
Construction details include Focal’s multi-port Powerflow, an ultra-rigid cabinet construction with solid aluminium-alloy base.
The complete Focal Naim Ash Grey system is priced at £6,799.
