Focal and Naim are stepping up their marine offering, opening a new showroom in Cannes.
The Focal Powered by Naim boutique is described as a ‘treasure trove is designed around sound sharing and immersion, creating a retail experience like no other.’
Visitors will experience a range of premium Hi-Fi, from headphones to deluxe towers. The store joins similar outlets in Seoul, Lyon, Prague, Guangzhou, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Houston. The opening in Cannes, on Focal’s home ground of France, is significant as owners the VerVent Audio Group enter the yachting market this year with a new range designed specifically for yachts measuring 25 to 180 metres.
With personalised services and bespoke installation, Focal and Naim says it will directly address architects and designers, brokers and boatyards.
Focal has had a partnership with Princess Yachts since 2017, now it’s taking its marine aspirations to another level.
The two brands have a history of high-end collaborations, particularly in the automotive sector, partnering Bentley since 2008, and contributing to concept-cars from Pininfarina and Delage.
Managing Director of the new Focal and Naim Division, Eric de Saintdo, says: “Few things are as close to perfection as a custom-made yach. Yachts embody excellence and excellence is also a core value at Focal and Naim. That makes yachts and Focal-Naim a perfect match - excellence upon excellence!”
