Smart home specialist Fibaro has opened a new factory in Wysogotowo, near Poznań, Poland, doubling its production capacity to almost four million smart home devices per year. The new facility allows it to speed up the design and production process for future products and concepts.
The state-of-the-art factory reportedly features the most advanced professional production machinery available from Yamaha, Ersa and Nordson Asymtek, and operates in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
The company says its ability to design and manufacture products in Poland gives it a clear logistical advantage over its competitors.
“The dynamic development of the company allows us to implement exciting changes,” comments Bartłomiej Arcichowski,Fibaro CTO. “The new factory has been designed to offer our employees a better working environment, to expand and speed up the manufacturing process and to allow us to be more efficient.’ It's less than a decade ago that Fibaro prototypes were produced in a regularly flooded garage, he says.
"It’s a fantastic feeling to build the company from scratch and then to celebrate our success together," adds CEO Maciej Fiedler.
Fibaro smart home products are available through Invision UK. For more news about Invision products and services, visit our resource page here.
