French Hi-Fi specialist Elipson Audio has unveiled the Connect 250, a wireless streaming amplifier for residential and commercial applications. The Connect 250 is particularly suitable for custom integration applications bars, restaurants and gyms.
The Connect 250 is a compact class D amplifier, that supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. It’s rated 2x50w into 4ohms and 2x30W into 8ohms.
It supports resolutions up to 44.1kHz/24bit. Multiroom capable, the Connect 250 can also provide multi-room audio for up to 10 rooms.
Using the two mounting brackets supplied, it can be mounted on a wall or under a false ceiling or shelf. Where line of site operation isn’t possible, a remote control and infrared cable are also supplied. Audio connections on the rear are protected within covers that allow installation in damp or moist environments.
The Connect 250 is designed to partner other products from the Elipson Connect range, including the current W35 Wi-Fi receiver and Music Centre Connect, due for launch in the new-year.
The Elipson Connect 250 amplifier retails for £249.
