DoorBird’s new IP Video Door Station, the D1101V, is now available from distributor Invision. The smallest model in the DoorBird product range, it’s Wi-Fi enabled and positioned as an entry-level solution for smaller residential projects.
Integrators have a choice of surface-mounted and flush-mounted versions, and overall style and aesthetics are high.
Two angle adapters have been specifically developed for the DoorBird D1101V Surface-Mount, which allow the unit to be mounted at vertical and horizontal angles. These adapters are said to significantly improve the detection angle and motion recognition, in case of difficult installation conditions.
The DoorBird allows users to monitor entrances with their smartphone, and talk to visitor, regardless where they are. It can be used as a standalone unit or can be integrated into an existing Smart Home platform. It can also be integare with door chimes or an electric door opener via the DoorBird App.
DoorBird D1101V connect to a network via WiFi or network cable using PoE. It features a Full HD camera with Sony Image Sensor, and has integrated Bluetooth for keyless access.
There’s also the option of a 4D Motion sensor for additional safety. The Door Station is configurable via the DoorBird App, and compatible with most leading smart home platforms, including Control4, Loxone and Crestron.
