Disney has released images of the pack art for what’s certain to be the biggest selling Blu-ray of all time. Galactic blockbuster Star Wars The Force Awakens will be available in standard Blu-ray livery, with theatrical poster art, and two special limited edition sleeves. These two disc sets will invite buyers to embrace either The Lightside or The Darkside.

In addition, there is a limited edition Steelbook, featuring Kylo Ren/Captain Phasma artwork. This is exclusive to online retailer Zavvi.

The bonus disc promises a Falcon full of extras: Secrets Of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey; The Story Awakens: The Table Read; Crafting Creatures; Building BB-8; Blueprint of a Battle: The Snow Fight; ILM: The Visual Magic Of The Force; John Williams: The Seventh Symphony; Deleted Scenes; Force For Change. All discs announced so far are 2D only. Disney says it will release a 3D edition in the UK later this year. The audio track is DTS HD MA 7.1, not Dolby Atmos. Disney has yet to offer any commitment to 4K UHD Blu-ray, talking to the industry only about possible HDR encoded 2K Blu-rays at some point in the future.

Star Wars The Force Awakens will be released on Blu-ray April 18.
