Cyrus Audio offers One Cast Hi-Fi amplifier home trial

British Hi-Fi specialist Cyrus Audio is offering potential buyers the opportunity to try out any of its Cyrus One family of stereo amps for 14 days at home. The promotion tackles head-on the crisis facing Hi-Fi retail, allowing consumers to experience the highly rated range in the environment it’ll be heard in. Usefully this also allows buyers to compare it to any existing audio products they may have.

Included in the offer are the Cyrus ONE, ONE HD and ONE Cast amplifiers, plus the ONE linear speaker system.

Participating UK dealers will allow you to borrow the kit, with or without speakers, for a 14 trial period, subject to a small deposit being taken.

“With large numbers of people being asked to work from home and self-isolating, we want to ensure they have the opportunity for the escapism of music,” says Cyrus Audio’s MD, Simon Freethy.

UK Hi-Fi dealers have seen a dramatic fall in customer visits, even before the country was sent into lockdown.

The Cyrus One Series are all 100W per channel designs. The £699 Cyrus ONE integrated amplifier has multiple analogue inputs, as well as an integrated phono-stage. The £999 ONE HD adds digital inputs, using a High-Resolution 32-bit ESS DAC and Bluetooth aptX. Leading the pack is the new £1,295 ONE Cast, which has built-in Google Cast, Apple Airplay, and Alexa, as well as an HDMI ARC input.

Cyrus is also offering the ONE linear, a compact bookshelf speaker using a Kevlar bass driver and soft-dome tweeter (£849 with a Cyrus One).
