Crestron announced the appointment of Olaf Stepputat, as Regional Sales Director for Germany and Austria. Stepputat joins Crestron from Barco where he was leading the audio product division which was established with the acquisition of IOSONO. Prior to that, Stepputat was scaling Technotrend’s business as VP of Sales, establishing the brand and increasing the retail market in Europe. He also rolled out the digitalisation of terrestrial broadcasting for Deutsche Telekom in Germany.
“I highly value Crestron’s solutions, market position and strong corporate spirit.” says Stepputat. “With my strong background in ICT and AV, I’ll be using my sales, managerial and strategic expertise to establish relationships with new and existing partners, as well as supporting Crestron’s EMEA growth plans within the industry.”
“Crestron Germany, and particularly the Sales and Business Development teams will get the leadership of a seasoned professional in the AV and ICT industry,” comments Robin van Meeuwen, Crestron President and CEO. “We are very happy to have attracted such a senior executive with entrepreneurial spirit for Crestron and entrust him with the leadership of the Crestron Germany division with strong expectations.”
