The best CI dealers in the USA and Canada have been celebrating with the announcement of Control4's 2012 Dealer Awards. Now in its fourth year, the annual Control4 Dealer Awards are designed to reward superior business practices, technical support to clients and sales volume. And this year the remit expanded beyond residential space to include the commercial sector as well.
According to Jim Arnold, senior vice president of sales for Control4, "The Control4 Dealer Awards give us the opportunity to reward and recognise the ability to go above and beyond, while exemplifying what it means to be a great dealer."
DataSmart in Houston, Texas was named Control4's Dealer of the Year for 2012. Arnold said DataSmart cites a "relentless" commitment to staff training and operational excellence as key to their win. "They have proven quite clearly that a quality team with a strong plan and a keen focus on the details can win big in this business."
Winner of the new philanthropic Control4 4Thought award went to Neuwave Systems in Raleigh, North Carolina, who used Control4 automation to create a smart home for a young woman who was paralysed just a month before her wedding. "Now that is what automation is all about," said Mark Masters of Neuwave. Visions Electronics in Canada took the Control4 Tech Support Choice Award for superior technical support and knowledge.
