Control4 has expanded its line of Triad R Series in-ceiling speakers with six new models designed for custom installers and architects. All sport an ultra-slim, magnetic micro-frame round grille, and optional square grille, for interior design integration.
The Triad R06 is a new entry-level model, with a 165mm polypropylene woofer, and 19mm cloth dome tweeter. It’s joined by four new additions to the brand’s the R10 Series. All have reinforced poly-mica woofers for superior bass which come in 133mm (the R15), 165mm (R16), and 215mm (R18) sizes. Uniform Teteron dome tweeters ensure all are voice-matched.
For smaller rooms, or when stereo sound is required from a single speaker, Triad now offers the R18DT (pictured top), with 215mm woofer and dual tweeters. Finally, the Triad R28DT joins the top-end R20 Series line, designed for premium audio reproduction. It boasts a carbon fiber woofer and 25mm silk dome tweeter.
“With the growth of the connected home and demand for music everywhere, customers want to play high-quality audio throughout the home,” says Paul Williams, VP of Product Management. “And, more often than not, the homeowner wants the speakers to blend into the décor.”
