ConferX has introduced a new 4k capable 8x4 HDMI/HDBaseT Matrix with Quick Switch technology.

Quick Switch technology allows a 4k/30p signal to switch in under 3 seconds, and a 1080p signal in under 2 seconds. The AC-CX84-AUHD is an 8 input, 4 output HDMI/HDBaseT matrix switcher. Typical commercial installations would include conference room or classroom AV systems.

This 4K switch can display any of the eight inputs through both the HDBaseT and HDMI output ports. All four of the outputs are completely independent of each other, allowing the user to show four sources at the same time. It’s designed to work with other components in the ConferX line-up to give a simplified experience when sharing ideas inside a classroom, conference room or huddle space.

“This switch allows integrators to offer quicker switching, even when connected to the latest Macbook Pros or Thinkpads that are outputting a taxing 4K signal,” says Matt Murray, CTO of AVPro Global. “This gives trainers, teachers, professors or presenters the tools they need to concentrate on their message, not the AV signal flow.”

Headquartered out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, AVPro Edge specialises in HDMI, HDBaseT and HDCP connectivity products for integrators. More details can be found over on the AV Pro Edge website here.
