UK Hi-Fi specialist Chord Electronics has announced a new partnership with US distributor The Sound Organisation, to handle its British-built audio ranges in North America and Canada.
The new distributor will stock and ship Chord Electronics products from its facility in Arlington, Texas.
During the handover, the Kent-based company thanked Jay Rein and his team at Bluebird Music for their hard work in helping to raise awareness for the Chord Electronics brand Stateside over the past 20 years.
Chord Electronics most recently released the Chord 2go, a streamer/server designed to turn its Hugo 2 DAC into a fully featured Wi-Fi- and Ethernet-enabled network music player. The 2go offers twin 2TB-rated SD card slots for digital storage and playback, plus 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and A2DP Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
