Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition will be the first 4K Blu-ray disc to be released on a 100GB triple layer disc by a major studio. Warner Bros will use the large capacity platter to accommodate Zack Snyder’s three hour ‘Ultimate’ cut of the film.

The two-disc set will also feature the regular theatrical version of the movie and over two hours of supplemental material, including a slew of character and behind the scenes featurettes: Uniting the World's Finest, Gods and Men: A Meeting of Giants, The Warrior, The Myth, The Wonder,  Accelerating Design: The New Batmobile, Superman: Complexity & Truth, Batman: Austerity & Rage, Wonder Woman: Grace & Power, Batcave: Legacy of the Lair, The Might and the Power of a Punch, The Empire of Luthor and Save the Bats.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray disc is released on Aug 1 in the UK, and July 19 in the US.
