Meridian Audio Has confirmed July 4 as the date for its second Meridian Live event.
The day provides CI professionals with an opportunity to experience new products, active high-resolution audio workshops and distributed brands. This includes a hands-on experience with Barco, Display Technologies (DT) and Cinema-ATS, all delivered by a team of Meridian experts.
The day will also offer a chance to see the first ever UK demo of Barco Residential’s brand new LED 5k ‘solid-state’ ultra low noise projector, the Bragi Cinemascope.
This second event follows an inaugural open day in march. A third Meridian Live is scheduled for November 6.
Meridian’s Education Manager, Hugo Fitzjohn, commented, “Meridian Live is an exciting event for us, it’s a great way to demonstrate why we are the pioneers of Hi-Res audio and the real authenticity behind the brand. Furthermore, we have some exciting new products that we look forward to demonstrating live, such as the DSP Architectural range, and great innovations from our Distributed by Meridian partners. It’s an amazing opportunity for Meridian to really connect with our dealers, showing only the very best audio and video products, whilst proving that our speakers really can make all the difference.”
Live demonstrations will include the new series of DSP in-wall loudspeakers from the Architectural range; there will also be insights into the Meridian Design and Specification Service and The CEDIA Designer, with a focus on how to get the most of out of both complementary services.
Distributed by Meridian brands Display Technologies and Barco Residential will be presenting new products for home cinema and media room installations.
Display Technologies will be demonstrating its Acoustically Transparent Wow (ATWow) screens. ATWow is a dual layer image surface made up of a single white front surface mounted over black backing, maximising black level detail whilst maintaining crisp whites and consistent colour accuracy across the entire light spectrum.
Land Rover will also be presenting the new Range Rover Velar, demonstrating all the aspects of the car, and its Meridian DSP sound system.
