AWE has signed a distribution deal with Sony covering the brand’s extensive range of 4K TVs. The arrangement gives AWE customers full access to the brand’s XD, SD and WD ranges, as well as the eagerly awaited Z-series. One screen the distributor is eager to spotlight is the KD-85XD8505BU, an 85-inch 4K Ultra HD HDR model. All the XD, SD and WD screens feature Sony’s 4K X1 image processor, Motionflow motion interpolation and an X-Reality PRO engine designed to enhance onscreen textures, contrast, colour and edges.

The Z-series line-up comprises the 65-inch KD-65ZD9, 75-inch KD-75ZD9 and 100-inch KD-100ZD, priced at £4,000, £7000 and £60,000 respectively. They feature the new Backlight Master Drive precision LED lamp backlight, for superior black level performance and high peak highlights. The Z series also introduces a new image processor, the X1 Extreme, said to be 40 per cent more powerful than the X1. All Sony products are available with a 5 year warranty.
