AWE has secured exclusive UK distribution of Definitive Technology’s Mythos and Custom Installation collections of loudspeakers. Definitive Technology produces a wide-range of on-wall, architectural, floorstanding, bookshelf and outdoor speakers, as well as both in-wall and freestanding subwoofers.

The deal is a natural fit for AWE, as the brand hails from the same stable as Denon, Marantz and HEOS, which AWE has long handled. The addition of Definitive Technology products expands the variety of audio solutions available from the distributor.

Mythos XTR 40 Small

Included are the Mythos XTR Series of ultra-slim on-wall speakers. Just 38mm thin, they’re a match for many wall-mounted TVs. The Mythos XTR line have proved popular in the US, with installers looking for a powerful, aesthetically pleasing sound system.  The deal also expands the choice of subwoofers, including the SuperCube range (pictured top), and introduces Definitive Technologies All Weather speaker line.

“The Definitive Technology brand is highly respected in the US for very good reasons. The build and quality of the speakers and subwoofers is immediately evident, and with a vast range of solutions available including premium ultra-slim on-wall models, our customers will be able to specify the best product for each project,” says Stuart Tickle, Managing Director of AWE. “We are thrilled to offer installers exclusive access to the installation focussed collections, and are looking forward to building more business for Definitive Technology over the coming years.”

The full range of Definitive Technology Mythos and Custom Installation loudspeakers are available now. For more news stories about AWE’s product portfolio and services, visit our resource page here.
