AudioControl is expanding its Director range with the D4600 16-channel and D2800 8-channel high-powered amplifiers for whole-house entertainment. The D-Series leverage technology from the company’s Director M-Series amplifier line, delivering the benefits of DSP with onboard digital profiles of the most popular architectural loudspeakers, created in conjunction with engineers from each brand as part of AudioControl’s Sound Partners Program.
AudioControl D-Series amplifiers enable integrators to deliver 8-channels from a 1U chassis (D2800) or 16-channels from a 2U chassis (D4600) to accommodate a variety of system configurations. Power output is rated at 100 watts/8-Ohms. Channels are bridgeable, giving integrators configuration flexibility for system setup.
The DSP engine also includes graphic and parametric equalisation by zone, as wells as network monitoring/programming. Full demos of the new amplifiers will be held at ISE 2018.
