Acoustic treatment specialist Artnovion has released an app to help diagnose room problems. The Impulso Architect app detects the audio resonances of a room/space to work out the best acoustic set-up and installation of Artnovion panels.
The app offers a variety of information to help with acoustic room treatment, including target RT, acoustic metrics (D50, C80, STI and Bass Ratio), and a comprehensive Energy Time Curve plot and frequency plot. After measuring a room, the app allows integrators to select Artnovion products, and then it simulates how the room’s acoustics will improve, showing a reverberation time graph.
The company has also expanded its treatment line-up with a striking new absorber, the Kalahari (pictured above), and introduced a new selection of metallic finishes for its High End range: Rose Gold, Classic Gold and Bronze (pictured below) . The choice is intended to broaden the appeal of treatments to interior designers looking for extra glitz. Artnovion currently offers a variety of absorbers, bass traps and diffusers.
