Arcam has taken the wraps off three new AV receivers, plus a trio of power amps, and an AV processor, its first new AV models in four years.

The AVR10, AVR20 and AVR30 (pictured above) all land with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X 7.1.4 and IMAX Enhanced support, and have seven 4k HDMI 2.0b inputs with HDCP2.2 and Bluetooth connectivity. They also support GoogleCast streaming, work with ARCAM’s free MusicLife and Control apps, and use audiophile grade DACs.

All three models have seven channels of amplification onboard. The AVR10 offering 12-channels of processing, with Dirac calibration, while the AVR20 and AVR30 offer16 channels of processing with Dirac optimisation. The AVR30 employs Class G amplification

Three new power amps in the HDA range are the PA240 (pictured), PA410 and PA720. All offer ethernet and RS232 control. The PA410 is a Class AB design delivering four channels of power, rating at 70W each, and features a toroidal-based power supply, acoustically damped chassis, and paralleled transistor output stages.

The PA240 and PA720 adopt Class G amplification, utilising multiple power supplies. The PA240 is a two-channel machine, enabling 2 x 380W Class G or 1 x 790W Class G bridged mode. The PA720 stores seven channels of Class G power, available as 7 x 140W. Both the PA240 and PA720 come with balanced XLR inputs.

Connectivity comprises 16 XLR outputs, 16 single-ended RCA/phono outputs; seven  4k HDMI inputs; three HDMI outputs, plus ethernet, RS232 and IR control. It’s also Bluetooth-equipped, integrates an FM/DAB/DAB+ tuner, and employs an ESS 9026PRO audiophile DAC.

The new HDA range goes on sale in the UK during late October/November. Pricing is as follows:

ARCAM AVR10 £2,299
ARCAM AVR20 £2,999
ARCAM AVR30 £4,999
ARCAM AV40 £3,749
ARCAM PA410 £1,299
ARCAM PA240 £1,999
