Arcam unveils AV860 Dirac Live Dolby Atmos DTS:X processor

Arcam has unveiled the AV860 AV processor. Following on from last year’s  AV390, AVR550 and AVR850 AV receivers, the processor features Dirac Live room correction, and decoding for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Connectivity includes seven HDMI inputs (all HDMI2.0a with HDCP2.2, one with MHL support) and three HDMI outputs, plus 12 balanced and unbalanced outputs  Beneath the lid there’s a Cirrus CS42528 audiophile-grade DAC.

There’s also an FM/DAB tuner, and support for Internet Radio. Spotify Connect is enabled.  Control is possible over Ethernet or via the iOS MusicLife UPnP/control app. Arcam provides Control4 and Crestron modules. RS232, 12V triggers and standard IR control are also included. 

The AV860 will retail for £4,000.
