Alltrade’s thirtieth anniversary 2019 trade show, held in October, saw a rise in attendance reports the distributor. The one day event featured a variety of exhibitors from CI, aerial and satellite, home automation and security industries, between them showing more than 50 brands.

Held at the Epsom Downs Racecourse, the Trade Show has become a popular diary date for custom installation and TV signal distribution professionals in the South of the country.

The event created brisk business thanks to special anniversary discounts, and a plethora of new and exciting products on show. Attendees could also take a ride in a racing VR simulator.

Main event sponsor Triax showcased the launch of its Optical Fibre Range, TOF. Developed specifically for the UK market and based on the new Wideband technology used by Sky, the new TOF range enables the easy design and installation of medium to large Fibre Satellite TV distribution systems. The system provides excellent MER across all transponders, providing a solution many of Alltrade’s customers have been demanding since the launch of the Sky Q platform. The entire Triax TOF range will be available at Alltrade Trade Counters and Alltrade on-line from December 2019, with training seminars planned across regional Trade Counters this November.

Key brands including Sonos, Televes, Ubiquiti, Optimal Speaker Design (OSD), Hikvision, Webro, Blustream, Elan, Whyte Technologies and Sanus supported the show, with many using the event to launch new products to the trade.

“At 30 years young, Alltrade is in great shape and this year’s Trade Show figures demonstrate our continued growth,” says Alltrade MD, Steve Simper. “Expanding our range with new brands, developing our regional Trade Counters and offering award-winning training and support continues to resonate with installers across the industries we supply. This year’s Trade Show highlighted those strengths with record numbers of exhibitors, brands and visitors.”

A condensed expo space, with seminars and free food and refreshments, give the Alltrade Trade Show a unique appeal. “Features such as the stunning location, show deals and VR racing simulator certainly added to the draw this year. We are already planning an even more upscale and engaging event for 2020,” adds Simper.

“My thanks go out to our supporting brands, without whom this event would not be possible. Triax, Antiference and Global Invacom have been with us for many years and we have worked together to broaden the product range, knowledge and opportunities for Alltrade’s trade customers. By delivering an extensive range of top-tier products, Trade Counter convenience, Award-Winning training, free delivery on our own fleet of vehicles and unrivalled back-up and support, we are very much looking forward to growth through the next 30 years.”

The Alltrade Trade Show will return to Epsom Downs Racecourse on October 7 2020.
