Invision UK announces distribution agreement with Nest, products available from January

Home technology distributor Invision UK has signed a distribution agreement with Smart home appliance company Nest. The partnership will be confirmed at today’s CEDIA Tech Forum in London. Nest Labs is at the forefront of a revolution in heating and home protection technologies, with its Learning thermostat and the Nest Protect: Smoke + Carbon Monoxide alarm (pictured above). Both products will be available to custom installers via Invision from January. Through the Works with Nest program, Nest currently works with a number of whole-home control systems, including RTI, Control4, Crestron and URC. Dealer training dates will be announced in early December.

Mark Taylor, business manager at Invision UK says he’s “delighted” to add Nest to Invision’ residential product offering. “Nest products are intuitive and add real value. We are always striving to find ways to help our customers grow and enhance their business,and Nest is a perfect fit,” he says.

“Our goal is to make every home more thoughtful, helping people throughout the UK and Ireland save energy, stay comfortable, and improve home safety,” adds Lionel Paillet, Nest general manager for Europe.
