Lutron to showcase RadioRa 2 for shades at ISE 2013

Lighting control leader Lutron will showcase its RadioRA 2 for shades control solution, alongside an upgraded iteration of its popular HomeWorks QS system, plus an extensive new range of new designer blind fabrics, at ISE 2013. Jennifer Suarez, EMEA marketing manager, says the show provides a unique platform for the brand: "Not only does ISE enable us to showcase our latest shading solutions, but visitors can see the wealth of integration possibilities available to them when they choose to use Lutron's wide range of wired and wireless light control devices."

Certain to command attention, the Lutron RadioRA 2 for shades retrofit blinds (pictured above) can be controlled via smartphone or tablet, and integrated with popular third party control systems. Features include a built-in timeclock which be programmed to operate the blinds at set events throughout the day. 

The brand will be unveil a new range of designer blind fabrics at the event.  Produced in association with renowned window décor supplier Coulisse, the Lutron Coulisse Collection boasts over 700 fabrics and materials suitable for roller, honeycomb and venetian blinds.

Naturally, various intelligent shading solutions will also be on display. Visitors to the booth will be able to take a closer look at Lutron's Serena Insulating Honeycomb blinds, Venetian blinds with Intelligent Tilt Alignment and precise alignment Roller blinds. The latest version of HomeWorks QS will be on hand, controlling a range of LED lamps and demonstrating the system's HVAC integration with CoolMaster and KNX thermostats. Expanded control functionality using the wireless Clear Connect RF will be unveiled. 

In what is sure to be a common theme throughout ISE 2013, green technology will feature prominently. Lutron's EcoSystem light control system offers digitally addressable dimming ballasts, controls and environmental sensors which can provide installations with impressive energy savings of between 40-70 per cent.
