Security specialist Lilin has begun shipping its L series NVRs. Designed for the CI install channel, the new models have no front panel controls and are sold on processing performance rather than number of channels. There is full IP driver integration with all major control systems as well as browser based remote viewing and app support. Distribution is through Invision UK. Lilin will hold an RTI integration training session at its Milton Keynes office on July 23, in association with Invision UK.
L series NVRs can record up to 16 cameras at full 1080p HD resolution in real time (at 25fps), and offers all the usual video surveillance niceties (recording, playback/live view). Set up is said to be intuitive. Lilin offers IP Scan to locate all the cameras on the network and imports a preview picture of each channel to help with identification, which speeds up commissioning.
Finished in high gloss black, the three-strong L Series are all 16 channel designs capable of recording 100, 200 and 400 frames per second (fps) respectively.
Lilin recently used the Invision UK Home Technology Showcase to show its new Covert Camera. The tiny IPC0122 IP camera can stream Full HD 1080p images at 30fps or record to SD card, and has 2-way audio capability. It’s also capable of sending alarms via e-mail triggered by tampering, audio or motion detection. The company is also introducing a new range of IP cameras, from 120FPS HD to 4K UHD.
