Custom install distributor Invision UK has signed up Luxul Wireless, a specialist in the field of Wi-Fi signal distribution. Using patented digital signal boosting technologies and clever circular polarisation techniques, Luxul's various Xen Wireless solutions can be used to dramatically increase Wi-Fi signal penetration and range. The company claims it is able to extend a wireless area network by as much as 400 per cent without impacting on data transfer rates.

As a consequence, a single wireless access point can be used to cover a large property, when ordinarily multiple WAPs would be required. Xen3D technology can also simplify the deployment of a Wi-Fi network for extremely large projects and significantly improve the reliability of those Wi-Fi components, such as touch panels and wireless security cameras, which depend on a robust wireless network to operate. Luxul Wireless offers commercial grade WAPs as well as network switches with power-over-Ethernet, routers and signal boosters.

Mark Taylor, Business Manager at Invision UK, says the brand is a good fit for the company.  "We aim to supply our dealers with technologies that will enable end-users to get the most from their home entertainment systems, and Luxul does just that." He says that ease of installation will appeal to integrators, and adds "customers are going to be delighted with the result."

In addition to the custom install market, Luxul can be found in hospitality, healthcare, education and hot spot related areas. Luxul Wireless will be exhibiting at CEDIA Expo 2012.
