Invision UK has picked up distribution of Zappiti, a media content management system comprising software, media player and NAS storage.
Immediately available is new Zappiti player 4K, which can be networked or stream over Wi-Fi, and uses proprietary upscaling Magic Pixel technology to improve image quality. The player supports HEVC decoding and can offers up to 8TB of storage in a hot swappable bay. Also available is the Zappiti NAS, an eight bay storage solution.
The latest Zappiti Media Center V4 software allows users to browse their movie and TV series collection and play titles from local and network storage media. Extensive use of metadata means viewers have access to subtitles, trailers and additional information.
Adrian Summers, category manager for Invision UK, says Zappiti has “for a number of years been a pioneer in media centre software. With their evolution into 4k hardware it’s an exciting time for both companies and compliments Invision’s product line up perfectly”
