Epson has launched a trio of 3LCD home entertainment projectors at IFA 2014. The EH-TW6600W, pictured below, and EH-TW6600 (£1,699 and £1,399 RRP respectively) are Full HD 1080p models aimed at the home cinema and gaming markets. 3D compatible, the pair boast an equally high white and colour light output, with seven colour modes and auto optimiser. The brand says they're quick to install, offering lens shift for easy alignment. They're joined by the £549 EH-TW570 (pictured below middle), a high brightness 3,000 lumens 720p HD-ready model with four colour modes.

Neil Colquhoun, business director says: "IFA is a great opportunity for us to present our latest innovations, as it's the meeting place for key retailers, buyers, media and experts from the industry. With the EH-TW6600W, EH-TW6600 and EH-TW570, we're pleased to be continually raising the bar for image quality, bringing the latest cinematic 2D and 3D experience to home entertainment fans."

EB W28 CropEpson has also unveiled the first portable business projector to feature QR code connectivity. Intended to simplify collaboration and content sharing from smart devices , the EB-W28 (pictured above) comes with multi-PC Projection software allowing up to 50 users to share content. The WXGA resolution model is also MHL-ready, boasts 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 3,000 lumens brightness. It retails for £493.

Product manager Chris Goff says: "Once the Epson iProjection app has been downloaded to a smart device, it's just a matter of scanning a QR code that's projected by the EB-W28. It's never been easier to take what you're seeing on a smart device and share it with a larger audience."
