Home entertainment distributor Habitech has signed a distribution deal with Vantage that will see it handling Vantage’s Legrand ‘widget’-based control system with immediate effect. The partnership strengthens Habitech’s offerings to the developer market, and will allow for closer integration between Vantage control and Nuvo whole home audio systems.

Vantage has decades of experience in the high-end control business, and offers a variety of fully integrated automation solutions built around a user interface that mirrors the UX approach taken by the smartphone and tablet market, via pre-defined application widgets. These greatly simplify the installation of  lighting, weather, climate, AV and security systems. Habitech will position Vantage as the high-end automation system of choice for developers of luxury residential properties.

Currently Vantage offers a choice of three displays - the 4-inch Equinox 40 and 41, and the 7-inch Equinox 73 - along with a range of controllers, LED dimmers, line-voltage relay modules and DIN-rail lighting control relays/dimmer modules. The distributor will support the brand with regular training courses.

“Vantage provides a wonderful opportunity to add genuine kudos to our relationship with the developer market and strengthen our service and support for our existing valued customers,” says Habitech MD Jonathan Pengilley. “It also complements our other automation lines beautifully and allows us to offer the most powerful range of applications for home control.”
