Habitech has expanded its ProNet product range with Ruckus Unleashed Access Points, a new controller-less wireless LAN solution that enables integrators to deliver a wireless experience which, it says, can be configured and running in minutes. The Unleashed controller-less WLAN network solution supports up to 25 APs and/or 512 clients and can be set up without the need for IT expertise, an AP license, controller or cloud subscription.
The debut Unleashed range includes the R310, R500 and R600 indoor and T300 outdoor Access Points. All comply with 802.11ac and include key Ruckus technologies, including BeamFlex+ Adaptive Antenna Technology to maximize signal coverage, throughput, and network capacity, and ChannelFly, a predictive capacity management for RF channel selection. Zero-IT enables easy device connection with guest WLAN access, captive portal, Guest Pass and Custom Logo features. Installation is via one master point, using the Unleashed online wizard.
When configuring the network, a standby AP is chosen automatically to ensure network resilience. Then, all member APs automatically discover and join the master.
