Epson has launched a trio of low cost Full HD projectors. The EH-TW5350 (pictured above), EH-TW5300 and EH-TW5210 are all 2D and 3D compatible, and boast long life lamps said to run for the equivalent of a film a day for 11 years. Dynamic contrast is rated at 35,000:1 for the EH-TW5350 and EH-TW5300, with 30,000:1 for the EH-TW5210. The EH-TW5350 also includes built-in Miracast for wirelessly sharing media from Android smart devices, and an onboard 5w sound system. Connectivity includes two HDMI inputs.

Paul Wilson, business manager, Epson UK, says: “The home cinema experience should deliver big, clear and sharp images with lots of defined detail and deep blacks, which are what the EH-TW5350, EH-TW5300 and EH-TW5210 are all about. With a compact and curved design, these affordable and versatile projectors look great around the home while delivering all the latest technology.”

The models introduce what Epson describes as “a newly-developed noise cancelling chip that helps deliver the clearest, sharpest images yet.” Brightness is high, rated at 2,200 lumens for White and Colour Light output. This should make them suitable for use in media rooms with moderate levels of ambient light. The EH-TW5350, EH-TW5300 and EH-TW5210 (pictured below) retail for £699, £599 and £549 respectively.
