CYP has dramatically expanded its range of HDBaseT matrices and switchers at ISE, promising innovative solutions to real-world CI problems. CYP sales and marketing director Phil Davis says: "We have been listening closely to our partners to identify what the market really needs from future products. This has led to us creating a comprehensive roadmap of innovative new solutions, which also hit key price points."

Included in the new range is an affordable version of one of the brand's most popular lines, the PU-8H8HBTL 8x8 HDMI HDBaseT Lite Matrix. It's joined by the PU-424HBTE (pictured above), a 5 Play (uncompressed video, audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, power over Ethernet and control) 4x4 HDBaseT Matrix with 2 simultaneous HDMI outputs. CI friendly features include mirrored HDMI outputs for added installation flexibility, IP control for remote access plus options for third-party control systems. CYP provides free drivers for Crestron, AMX, Control 4, RTI and RTI. There's also a Lite iteration, dubbed the PU-424HBTL.

Davis says the new HDBaseT line has been designed with ease of installation and long-term usage in mind. "We're particularly proud of our simplified EDID management controls and the ability to confidently hot-plug our products without the need for costly power cycles during installation," he says.

CYP is also introducing an entry-level HDBaseT solution, the PU-514L-KIT. This offers 4 HDMI outputs with two-way IR, and would typically be used to route a single source (most likely a set top box) to four rooms. Other new product launches for ISE include the wall-plate PU-507WPRX, which receives HDMI over Single CAT5e/6 HDBaseT 5-Play up to 100m, and a single HDMI into 2 HDBaseT splitter (PU-1H2HBTE), for distributing a single HDMI source to two zones.

Integrators looking to bring multiple sources to large screen displays are also well served with a couple of new HDMI switchers with PIP. The EL-41PIP allows four sources on a single display, with image rotation and mirroring, while the step-up EL-5500 supports up to eight sources - "making it the most robust and versatile HDMI/VGA/Display port presentation switch available today."

The entire CYP 2013 range can be found on S105 in Hall 5. ISE runs until January 31st; more details on our Partner Page.
Distribution is via Computers Unlimited.
