There’s a new matrix brand in town. Australian HDMI and HDBaseT signal management company Blustream is to be distributed through Alltrade. “Blustream has developed a range of AV distribution products that boast unrivalled real world features,” says Lee Harding, AV Sales Manager. “As standard all Blustream products offer 4K resolution support, advanced EDID management and bi-directional IR control.”

Ease of install is said to be a key attribute for the brand. Not only do Blustream HDBaseT solutions offer bi-directional power over Ethernet (PoE) across the range, they inject an Audio Return Channel (ARC) via HDMI into the HDBaseT signal. “This means our customers using Blustream products in their installs can confidently use TVs as audio sources for the first time within a multi-room project.” Driver integration is provided for Control 4, Demopad, Elan, RTI and Savant systems. The line-up comprises the 4x4 HMXL44-Kit HDBaseT matrix; the 8x8 HMXL88; the HEX100ARC-KIT HDBaseT extender; RX70AMP HDBaseT extender with inetrated audio amp and the HEX70B-Kit extender.

To support the launch, Blustream has set up a dedicated UK base. “At Blustream we have engineered a range of pioneering products that offer both unrivalled features and price points for installation partners," says Sales and Marketing Director Phil Davis, adding: “Alltrade has a proven track record when it comes to selling and supporting HDMI and HDBaseT products. With the AV installation market expanding rapidly, the company is perfectly positioned to be a premium distribution partner for Blustream in the UK.”

The Blustream range will be on demonstration at ISE 2015. For more product information, contact Lee Harding at Alltrade on 01273 765166. For more on ISE 2015, visit our resource page here.
