Philips new Master LED lamps promise flicker free dimming with most main dimmer brands, and AWE has them. The distributor has confirmed that it is now stocking and shipping eco-friendly LED lamps, which ideally work in conjunction with the already-distributed Philips Dynalite lighting control system.

These perfect-fit LED lights offer energy savings of up to 80 per cent and mimic the dimensions of traditional halogen units, slotting into existing GU10 and MR16 light fitments. Characteristics include a uniform, directional high-quality light output.

Philips has designed a unique intelligent driver for these low voltage LED lamps, which ensures broad compatibility with existing transformers. Consequently, AWE suggests the LED lamps are perfect for numerous applications, be they residential, commercial, hospitality or industrial projects. The LED lamps are available in a range of colour temperatures, which should help installers looking to best match lighting during retrofits.

"Philips LED lights are all categorised as A, A+ or A++ in energy saving grades, leading to massively reduced overheads compared to traditional lighting technologies," explains AWE's Philips Dynalite Product Manager Craig Thorne. "In addition, by combining them with a lighting control system like Philips Dynalite, even further cost savings can be generated for the customer."
