Specialty screen supplier Aquavision, best known for its waterproof bathroom TVs, has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Invision UK. The company had previously worked with a variety of UK distributors. The move was prompted by "considerable changes" in the custom installation distribution business, says director Alastair Benn. He now believes the brand's customer base is "best served by one fully focused distributor," adding that Invision has "really moved the game on by investing in a nationwide sales team, second to none technical support and a large stock holding."
Aquavision itself has also been changing of late, expanding its screen options from dedicated wetroom in-walls to stylized mirror finish models as demand for larger screen sizes increases. Most recently it has announced a new range of ConnecTV HDBaseT screens. At the recent Invision Home Technology Showcase, the company also unveiled its first touchscreen and expanded its selection of on-wall designs. Aquavision IPS panels are now also available with MirrorVision Plus, a reflective finish which completely hides the TV screen beneath.
