Aquavision has announced a new line of surface mounted LED LCD TVs designed for bathrooms and beyond. While the new Surface Mount range is waterproof, they're equally suited to bedrooms, kitchens and dens. "There's no need to make large holes in the wall to install these new designs as they can be mounted directly onto the wall," says the brand. "We're bringing real quality engineering and style to the professional home entertainment market."
The 19-inch HD LED and 26-inch FHD LED both feature RS232 and audio outputs for home network integration. Other connectivity includes two HDMIs, Scart and infrared codes to integrate with most home automation systems.
The Freeview sets sport a curved aluminium extrusion providing a water resistant seal that meets IP65 standards, and come in a choice of three finishes: Black, White and MirrorVision; the latter is particularly suitable for wetroom and bedroom installation, where the frontage can be used for shaving, make-up etc. As with all Aquavisions, the surface mount models feature heated screens to prevent misting-up in showers and bathrooms. They also ship with a waterproof remote control, optional speakers and Vesa brackets.
Distribution is via Invision UK and Marata. For more
