Control and automation leader AMX has confirmed that it'll use ISE 2013 to launch its Clear Connect Wireless Gateway system into Europe. Based on Lutron's Clear Connect Enabled technology, this new solution will enable AMX control systems to integrate with Lutron's Clear Connect dimmers, switches, occupancy sensors and keypads. The solution provides a quick and efficient way for installers to add lighting control to AMX control systems, without the hassle and cost of running wires. It also has the practical benefit of allowing homeowners the ability to efficiently control lighting and AV from a single interface.

The over-arching theme of the AMX booth will be home networking, with the brand planning to "showcase how its range of innovative solutions can simplify the way homeowners interact with the technology around them."

The Enova DGX 16 and 32 Digital Media switchers will be used to demonstrate solutions to the challenge of distributing multiple sources of audio and video around a home network, over long distances. "Traditionally, a digital media switcher is used to send content from numerous sources to displays and screens throughout a property. But, many digital media switchers have significant shortcomings in the management of multiple video output resolutions, content copyright protection and maintaining support for legacy, analogue-only devices," says the brand.

Visitors will see first hand how Enova DGX manages and distributes both analogue and digital audio and video, including HDMI, without any of the typical problems associated with HDCP authenticated content distribution and switching.

Also taking pride of place in the AMX booth will be the Modero X Series of frameless, panoramic and widescreen touchpanels, alongside two new Modero X Series accessories: Multi Preview (MXA-MP) and Multi Preview Live (MXA-MPL). The former delivers preview images from as many as 10 video sources while the latter adds live HD video streaming.

Integrated Systems Europe 2013 will be held at the Amsterdam RAI, January 29-31. AMX can be found at Booth 1-F2 and 1-F6.
