Continuing its control expansion programme, wireless audio system NuVo has now announced the release of an AMX-certified driver. The software allows any of AMX's NetLinx central controllers to operate the NuVo system. Dealers can enable NuVo customers to select zones, navigate content, adjust volume and more, without extensive programming. The AMX driver is available for download from the AMX dealer website.
"Pursuing compatibility with automation partners and ensuring that integration is easy to implement is part of our commitment to both dealers and end-users" says NuVo Vice President of Engineering Rick Kukulies. "This driver was developed in order to elevate the user-experience in projects where both NuVo and AMX systems are employed. The AMX certification of the software says we've accomplished that."
The AMX driver release follows integration with Crestron, Vantage and BitWise systems, greatly enhancing the appeal of the NuVo proposition. NuVo allows for wireless and wired configurations, and includes a hardwired professional series player option which powers three zones from a single rack-mountable unit. The system also includes built-in source variety through streaming internet radio and networked content, on top of input access for analogue and USB devices.
NuVo is distributed by Habitech. For more on Habitech's product portfolio and services, visit our partner page here. For more on AMX control systems, visit our AMX partner page here.
