RTI unveiled a trio of advanced control products at CEDIA Expo 2014. Joining the brand's offerings were the 10-inch KX10 touchpanel, ZW9 Z-Wave module interface and the XP9 control processor. The widescreen touchpanel is an in-wall design suitable for both home entertainment control and environmental system management. The provision of an HDMI input makes the most of the panel's WXGA resolution display, but there's also a composite video input for SD sources like security cameras. It can control devices directly via IR or RS-232, and features two-way control and feedback when used within an RTI ecosystem.
The ZW9 Z-Wave interface (pictured below) is designed to bring cost-effective monitoring and control capabilities to a range of Z-Wave-enabled systems and devices. The module provides a comms link between RTI systems and Z-Wave enabled devices such as lighting, door locks, security cameras and thermostats. It effectively eliminates the need for an app for different devices and is intended to be used with an RTI XP processor.
The new XP9 processor (above) boasts a
wide variety of control options, including nine routable IR ports,
eight two-way RS-232 ports, eight sense ports and eight relays.
Connectivity includes an HDMI output and Ethernet, for IP control,
firmware updates and support for the RTiPanel and Virtual Panel
apps.
RTI is distributed by Invision UK. For more on Invision's product portfolio and services, visit our partner page here.
